We’ve lived and worked by a common ethos ever since. At MoonLab, we’re dedicated to keeping our agency small and nimble, our pricing competitive, and our communication transparent. We don’t play it safe – we take risks so that we always deliver more than expected.

MoonLab functions less as a traditional agency and more like an extension of your team, championing your brand and putting partnership ahead of our bottom line.

We’re proud to partner with Worthy of Love

Cassandra has supported Worthy of Love since 2015 and currently sits on the board. Worthy of Love is an organization that throws unforgettable birthday parties for youth experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles County and Houston. Families experiencing homelessness often lack the resources needed to celebrate their children on their birthday. Worthy of Love steps in by transforming their environment and providing all-expenses-paid birthday parties. Since 2013, Worthy of Love has thrown over 200 parties and celebrated over 27,500 families!

Our mission extends into Cassandra’s other business ventures which include co-founding Nova Innovation Group, a strategy and operations consulting group supporting creators and innovators to achieve the extraordinary. She is also an investor and advisor to businesses including Bee2Be, a women-owned social impact company creating a circular economy through sustainable farming, Lady Suite, a women’s intimate skincare company, and Design For Environment, a movement that connects businesses with designers and specialists by sharing hands-on solutions and hot and to or not to apply the latest developments in sustainable development.

Sustainability

MoonLab’s unwavering commitment to healing the planet prioritizes eco-friendly practices and fosters reuse and modular design. Leading the charge is Chase Silva, MoonLab’s Sustainability Officer, who ensures we are driving forward in environmentally conscious strategies, driving the organization toward reducing its ecological footprint and advancing green practices. Through our sustainable approach with clients, we implement innovative strategies that extend the lifecycle of event assets, reducing waste while maintaining high-impact design.

Our Founder, Cassandra, a global advocate for sustainability and a member of the Members United Sustainable Events board, also plays a crucial role in advancing green initiatives. Splitting her time between Bali and Brazil, she collaborates with experts in environmental impact work, further amplifying MoonLab’s sustainability efforts

Nurturing Sustainability Worldwide

MoonLab’s in-house fabrication partner, BloqLab, specializes in building the future through creative design, manufacturing, and sustainable building solutions. Cassandra, Edgar, and Hakop, BloqLab co-founders, met working at their former agency and instantly created a bond over their love of innovation, building, and design. They bring over 10+ years of experience in event + trade show fabrication, architecture, furniture and product design.

BloqLab worked hand-in-hand with MLP to redefine swag with an interactive ‘No Swag’ concept for Instacart, raising over $10,000 for Feed America and showcasing our commitment to creativity and giving back. The activation wall, inspired by a Rube Goldberg Machine, allowed attendees to vote for their favorite meal.

Mental Health + Wellness

At MoonLab, we’re passionate about prioritizing mental health and supporting our team’s well-being. From mental health days, unlimited PTO, telehealth resources, and wellness programming, MoonLab knows the importance of prioritizing mental health in the workplace. Our commitment extends to endorsing their hobbies such as Chase’s biking and Katie’s running. We’re also dedicated to providing opportunities from extended vacations and experiencing, ensuring our team can recharge and make lasting memories. Beyond the workplace, our team members like Matt actively contribute to causes like ‘Worthy of Love,’ and we stand behind them in these meaningful endeavors. We’re thrilled to partner with clients who share our mission. Emphasizing mental health personal interests and community involvement.

Bali Bliss: A Journey of Transformation

Cassandra developed a partnership with The Place Retreats in Bali, where The Place has not only transformed her life, but empowered her to the best possible version of herself. She extends these valuable learnings to our team by taking fellow Moonies to Bali to experience it on their own, focusing on wellness rejuvenation and leadership mentorship. She even brings a piece of Balli back home, virtually connecting the Moonies with resources like breathwork and yoga sessions. While Cassandra extends her learnings to fellow Moonies, MoonLab also plays a critical role in helping The Place Retreats with their marketing, website, and brand projects.
