Uber DE+I Trade Shows
We created a reusable booth for Uber’s DE+I trade shows that could tell a holistic story of what it’s like to work with Uber for multiple trade shows throughout the year.
To showcase this, we designed and produced a vibrant and colorful booth that showcased Uber’s employee advocacy to attendees of the Out + Equal 2023 conference, the largest LBGTQ+ workplace equality event in the world. At Out + Equal, we created a consumer-facing booth with an interactive photo moment hosted by a drag queen for people to step forward as themselves and take up space. Attendees were invited to walk the Uber runway as the photo captures a video snippet of them “moving with pride”.
At Grace Hopper Celebration, the world’s largest gathering of women and non-binary technologists, we invited attendees to take a picture at the photo kiosk in front of a high-impact pattern wall, encouraging them to keep moving forward and “go get” what they want.
At this year’s dynamic Render ATL show, we spotlighted Uber’s incredible work culture and enticing benefits for new talent and prospects. Over 4,500 guests from diverse ethnicities, cultures, backgrounds, and career trajectories attended the trade show in Atlanta. We customized the booth’s backdrop wall with code-inspired mad libs to touch on the technology side of the conference.
After three incredible activations, this won’t be the last you see of this booth. This is how BloqLab and MoonLab specialize in sustainability and reusability, and we’re excited to see this booth make its way to even more shows this year!
